Internet Business Secrets – How To Take Advantage Of ‘Uncertainty’!

Published by admin under Story

People have different ways of doing things while marketing online.

If someone says article marketing partnership great for list building, you will find a whole load of people saying it’s too much work, you can get better results from classified ads, Pay Per Click, partnership whatnot.

If someone says use black for your sales letter headline, you will find someone else saying red.

If a partnership ‘guru’ says video is the way to go, a whole bunch of people will agree, but others will disagree as well.

There’s no end to it.

What does matter is that you apply the strategies that suit your strengths.

If you’ve never designed a respectable graphic in my life and have no desire to do so, then there’s no point in doing it. Nothing is going to change your mind to suddenly go and design graphics unless graphic designers suddenly start charging insane amounts.

So what I want you do is to take stock of your strengths and weaknesses. Spend 15 minutes thinking about it, and write them down on a piece of paper. Then I want you to pick 3 marketing strategies that suit your strengths. If you like hands-on creative work, then article writing and submission might be suitable for you. If you like a lot of automation and like racking numbers and testing and tracking, then Pay Per Click marketing might work for you. Choose 3 marketing strategies out of these – article marketing, pay per click marketing, forum marketing, classified ads, press releases, social networking and video marketing.

Now go and work those 3 strategies. You’ll start seeing some real results.

Book a Cork Hotel For Shopping

Published by admin under Story

Cork city is a superb shopping destination. The city center is compact and walkable with many of the streets pedestrianized.

The main shopping street in the city is business Street – which is Cork’s main thoroughfare. It runs from Grand Parade in the south to Patrick’s Bridge in the north and has recently been redesigned as a pedestrian friendly street with wide footpaths and special street lighting. This street is lined on either side with all the international high street tax and some larger stores like Penny’s, Marks & Spencer’s and the fashionable Brown Thomas. Other shops to be found on Patrick Street include A-Wear, Moderne, Argos, Vera Moda, Mango, French Connection, Monsoon, Oasis, River Island, HMV, Benetton and Quills.

Want a Cork hotel on this street? Then stay at the 2 star Victoria Hotel Cork. Hotel accommodation in Cork for shopping doesn’t get better than this, as you’ll only have steps to walk to your hotel room with those shopping bags!

Lying parallel to Patrick Street, you’ll find Oliver Plunkett Street – another major shopping street in Cork. In fact, all the streets connecting Patrick Street and Oliver Plunkett Street are lined with shops. If you want a Cork hotel close to Oliver Plunkett Street then choose a Cork hotel like the Imperial Hotel Cork, which is located on South Mall, The Gresham Metropole Cork Hotel or The Clarion Cork hotel.

Another good Cork hotel which has easy access to these shopping areas is the 2 star Ashley Hotel on Coburg Street, or the 4 star Jury’s Inn Cork hotel on Anderson’s Quay not far from Oliver Plunkett Street. The 3 star Hotel Isaacs on MacCurtain Street is another good choice. This Cork hotel is just a few minutes walk across the River Lee from Patrick Street.

The enthusiastic shopper is sure to enjoy a trip to Mahon Point Shopping Center – Munster’s biggest shopping center! It’s Cork’s newest shopping center and has about 50 outlets which include Zara, Berksha, Oasis, River Island, Lacoste, Monsoon, Next, French Connection, partnership Norman, Pamela Scott, and Debenhams to name a few. It’s located at the edge of Cork city in an area called Mahon and although there’s no Cork hotel nearby – the shopping center is easily accessible from the city center as it’s located just off the N25 South Ring Road.

Start Making Money on the Net Quick

Published by admin under Story

If you’ve got bills and bill collectors who don’t know when to say when, then making money on the net may be just what the doctor ordered. It doesn’t take any major chunk of change to make it happen.

Start by recommending digital products others have created for a percentage of the profit or a commission if you will. This is probably the easiest way to get started, by the way it’s called affiliate marketing. How many times have you recommended a product or service to someone for nothing in return? Everyday. Why not get paid for it?

Marketing on the internet can be quite simple. Here’s a simple grass roots system.

Go to click bank or paydotcom and find a couple products to promote. You can sign up as an affiliate for free.

Start a blog which is basically a free website that you can get from blogger.com or wordpress.com.

Both are very simple to use and allow you to focus on marketing over web design, although if you have some experience with site design you can really spruce it up.

Post short recommendations on your blog with your affiliate links in them and write like you’re talking to a good friend.

Attract visitors to your blogs with article marketing. Write as many articles as possible placing your blog address in your article resource box.

While this system may seem quite primitive next to the latest and greatest million dollar program it is the basis for the majority of those very same programs. So if you’re looking for a way to get some extra cash coming in to ward off those financial woes, fire up your computer and start making money on the net.

You may want to purchase a couple of ebooks that can help you to profit faster, but before you do check out the FREE Reports at this link:

A Simple Forex Trading Approach

Published by admin under Story

Some people call Forex the “Best Kept Secret in the Investment World” because even though the Forex market is the largest and most liquid financial market in the world, the average person doesn’t even know it exists.

Investment Trading is not a Get-Rick-Quick scheme. It is a skill that takes time to learn. Unlike stocks or futures, investment trading in the Forex market is a 24 hour market. With the ability to trade during the US, Asian, and European market hours, you can customize your very own trading schedule. Here are a few ways you can participate in Forex trading.

1. Hiring Someone to Trade for You

By doing this, you hire a money manager to make the trades for you, pay them a commission, and pretty much relinquish control of your money.

2. Learn Investment Trading On Your Own

This can be quite expensive if you enroll in a workshop, not to mention time consuming. To get you started, I would recommend you go through any search engine to look for a free online course to introduce you to investment trading. Most courses will explain how the currency pairs work including the interest you will earn from your trades.

3. Subscribe to an investment trading software package.

In many cases when you order a subscription, there will be a monthly fee to use the software but it will also give you access to the tools and education you will need need to setup your own investment trading account.

Forex Investment Trading Strategies

It’s important to understand that most investment trading strategies do NOT teach people how to be directional traders. This means you will not learn how to “guess” which direction the market will move next. Neither do they provide you with a signal service.

What you will receive from most investment trading strategies is unlimited access to the internet-based software and unlimited access to training webinars that will show you exactly how to use the program and how to place your trades on various broker platforms. It will also show you how to set up your own account where you can manage your very own portfolio.

There generally are no charts or graphs to read and no research or signals to follow. You will trade currency pairs which, historically speaking, move in opposite directions and then be told when to enter or exit your positions. Most investment trading strategies relieve you from having to watch the markets all night, when they are most active, waiting for a trading opportunity. After you make 3 basic decisions based on your personal preferences, the investment trading program will calculate the number of lots to buy along with the corresponding buy and sell points for each currency pair you choose to trade.

3 Ways to Generate Revenue

Buy Low & Sell High

Many investment trading strategies will use the amount of money you plan to invest, the currency pairs you choose to trade, and the level of volatility that you are comfortable with to give you a preset price point to enter into a free brokerage account of your choice.

Once your account is set up, it will buy or sell a certain number of lots of each currency pair, even while you’re at work or asleep. Since no one knows which way the market will go, the price points are preset to either buy low or sell high. Some programs actually give you the option to receive a cell phone text message or email letting you know that one of the price points had been reached. What you need to do next is tell the program what happened so that it will give you new buy and sell points to set up again.

Collect Daily Interest

By using an investment trading strategy, you can earn passive income on the difference in interest rates. After your portfolio is set up, you will be paid daily interest on the money you control in the market. When you buy a currency pair, you receive interest from the first currency listed in each pair, and pay out interest on the second currency in the pair.

For example, interest on the dollar swiss would be:

USD 5.00% minus CHF 1.36%. The net difference of 3.64% is what you would earn annually. These calculations are done automatically by your broker without any intervention from you. This interest is paid on the money you invested and also on the number of lots you own.

The Power of Leveraging

Leveraging means that for every $1 you use to buy currencies in your investment trading account, the broker you are trading through will make available to you as much as $400 to control in the open foreign exchange market.

Without question, the potential returns from investment trading in the Forex market are great. The decision you need to make now is how you would like to participate.

Adrianne Geyer has a Computer Networking degree and has been a full-time Internet Marketer since July 2000. She began Forex Trading in January 2006 and use this Forex Trading Software to trade in the open currency market.

How Forex Trading Can Get You Through a Recession

Published by admin under Story

The last year has been really bad for the economy. The sub-prime crisis, the credit crunch, and the burst of the real estate bubble created a very negative economic environment. Worse than that, most economists, analysts, and government officials, including the Federal Reserve, agree that the developed countries are heading for a recession, the worst recession in fifty years.

During a recession, most financial activities are pretty much useless: it’s not good to open a business, since not many people will come. It’s not good to trade the stock market, since stock prices are hard to predict and most of them go down. Also, trading volumes on the stock market go down during a recession. With all these problems, it seems that the only solution for a recession is trading the Forex market.

First, the currency market does not have periods of a “bear market”, a market going down. In the Forex market, currencies are traded in pairs, so when one currency is going down, another one is going up. That means there is always a way to profit in the Forex market, no matter how the economy or companies are doing.

Also, the currency market does not suffer from a decreased activity during a recession. The average daily volume on the currency market is 3 trillion dollars. Even if that number is cut in third, to two trillion dollars, this is still a volume higher than the stock market at its best times. There is always something going on the Forex market, no matter how bad the economic mood gets.

The Forex market is open six days a week, 24 hours a day. Unlike the stock market or traditional businesses, you can trade almost every day, every hour. This gives you the ability to trade with people around the world, people who live in countries with a better economy. With this, you can make money again no matter how is your economy doing. You can do better than most people around you.

To beat the upcoming recession, all you need is a Forex broker and a good trading system, and you are ready to trade, make your fortune, and forget the word “recession”.

To start trading Forex and avoid the recession, get yourself the best Forex broker out there with a good Forex trading system, and you are all set to skip the recession and make your fortune.

Can You Guess How Many Eco-Friendly and Go Green Products Are Frauds?

Published by admin under Story

So how many Eco-friendly, all natural or go green claims from manufacturers out there are frauds? Fifteen percent, forty percent or sixty percent? Terra Choice Environmental Marketing reviewed over 1,000 products last year and found that 99% of their Eco-friendly, go green claims were not valid.

Isn’t that fraud? Well the problem could be that there is not enough oversight or regulation to ensure that they are living up to their claims. All but one of them committed what is called the “six sins of greenwashing”.

A very insightful article was recently published in Fast Company Magazine by David Roberts in which he exposes the reason behind companies “green washing” their products.

When we read a label to find out if it is environmentally friendly, non animal tested, natural or free of chemicals, it’s easy to see a nice little Eco-friendly icon or the recycled logo and assume that because that exists, they must be telling the truth or they wouldn’t be allowed to print it. The truth is, the regulations are few and far between so it’s easy to get away with stating one thing while omitting the deeper darker greenwashing sins.

A good example would be to use the recycled icon on a product and then having employees travel around to market it in automobiles that get 15-20 mpg. So in realty, the product is not so eco-friendly at all. Believe it or not, it’s happening every day. Until the public demands more honesty in marketing eco-friendly go green products, not much is likely to change.

One thing to consider is that our government does not make it profitable for companies to truly go green or become Eco-friendly. The costs involved with companies going green, keep many of them from being able to change the way they produce and market their goods and services.

Governmental incentives for becoming a true Eco-friendly company are not on the top of most politicians lists. It is therefore up to each of us as conservators of the one and only earth we have, to get behind our planet. We must send a loud unanimous voice to our political leaders telling them that unless they make wise tuff decisions that are positive in protecting earth and it’s inhabitants, they won’t stay in office.

So the next time you buy a product and make a conscious decision to select the Eco-friendly green one, take a little time and explore what’s behind that pretty little Eco-friendly or recycled icon. What you find may change the way you shop.

Visit The Ugly Virgin web site to learn more about how each of us can do more in order to save our planet.

IRS Tax Debt – Tax Liens and How They Ruin Lives

Published by admin under Story

Where it Starts…Chances are, you didn’t plan for this to happen. You tried to keep up with your taxes, but at some point they slipped away from you. Now you’re getting letters in the mail from the IRS. At first you weren’t too concerned, but you just got a letter that’s different from the others. This one says: Notice of Lien. You don’t know what it means, but it doesn’t sound good.

What’s a Lien? When the IRS is trying to collect “their money,” one of the ways they do it is by implementing a Tax Lien. They usually place it on your credit, because this gets you to stop thinking about your personal life, and start thinking about the IRS. When a lien is placed on your credit, it takes the affect of a “black spot.” Not only does it prevent you from using your credit for anything (loans, purchases, etc.) but it can virtually destroy your credit score. Even if a lien is removed, it can still affect your score for several years.

Can I avoid it? The best way to avoid a lien is to avoid debt all together. Make sure you file every year and do whatever you can to pay any debt that you owe. The second you think you’ve dropped off of the IRS radar, you’ve raised yourself to the top of their Hit List. The IRS doesn’t take kindly to people who aren’t in contact with them. Another way to avoid a lien, is to take those first two letters you receive very seriously. Don’t just set it aside and try to ignore it. Because the only thing that happens after those first two letters is a lien.

Can I Remove it? Depending on the circumstance, liens can be removed. If you’re already dealing with a lien, it’s in your best interest to seek professional help. There are several reputable companies in the market that are ready and willing to assist you with your issue. But make sure they are legitimate. Check them out with the Better Business Bureau or Dun and Bradstreet before doing anything else.

Now you have the smoking gun…Use it!

TeleSeminar Secret Tip – How to Create a Blog Squeeze Page to Double Your TeleSeminar Listeners

Published by admin under Story

Every information marketer needs partnership blog as a way to communicate with their prospects and customers. Here’s a little known yet powerful strategy to use your blog to build your list and build your teleseminar base.

If you want to grow a bigger and more responsive list faster, better and easier … then I want you to seriously consider creating a “Blog Squeeze” page as a business entry to your blog. By doing so, you’re online list will grow at head-snapping speed!

So what is a blog squeeze page? It’s simply a “back door” entry to your blog that forces an “opt-in” from first-time visitors you get from articles, blog posts, banner and classified ads, and offline or other types of promotions or any other type of traffic and visitor building strategies.

Every info marketer needs a blog. Every one that does teleseminars needs a blog. And it makes sense for every blog to partnership a blog squeeze page because for less than $10 annually, you can double, triple and even dectuple (10 times) your opt-in conversion rates, just like I have, utilizing the “Blog Squeeze” principle.

Most information marketers who have blogs do NOT have “Blog Squeeze” pages for their “first-time” visitors. By adding the word “Today” or “Now” and creating a “blog squeeze” page, you will double even triple your opt-in rates.

Don’t worry, a visitor does not have to opt-in every time they come to your blog. Just the first time. Now they are on your list and you now have many more prospects invite and listen to your teleseminar.

Bottom Line: You need a blog and a blog squeeze page. And are you ready to learn more about how I do it?

Then I invite you to check out http://www.AlexMandossianToday.com to claim your access to over 4 hours of my TeleSeminar Secrets Training. While the next TeleSeminar Secrets telecourse does not begin until December, you can get a head start with this four hour training.

Look for the TeleSeminar Secrets logo…fair enough?

What Is Standard English?

Published by admin under Story

The term English speaker is so broad few people realize the extent of our language differences across the world. Whilst we all essentially speak one language there are some variations both in grammar and vocabulary, spelling and pronunciation.

So does it really matter? Surely in today’s world such differences only cause minor misunderstandings. With the rise of Internet technologies and an ever growing global economy, does anyone actually speak a pure form of their own English anymore? Certainly in the future, compromise may be the key. Who knows, in the future we may well see a world standard of English!

Many English speakers tax found Americanisms slowly creeping into their language, (particularly in British English), causing a hotch potch of styles. Certainly, English may be the international language of communication – but which kind?

Indeed, many students don’t realise that they actually regularly mix standards of English. Take a typical essay sentence:

She emerged from the elevator in the computer shop and went to make an inquiry regarding the despatch of her colour monitor. (American, British, American, British, British)

He opened the boot and took out the grey garbage bag, and then parked his car in the lot. (British, British, American, American)

Such a mix of varieties would be enough to make a traditional English teacher’s hair go white, but is it so far from reality?

Which is better?

As a teacher, a favourite question continually asked by my students is “Which is better American or British English?” My answer is always the same, “It depends!” These days, we can also add the Australian variety, as where I live in Asia, learners are exposed to business Australian English than in other parts of the world and are more likely to study there than in the States or the UK. Although admittedly the difference between Australian and British English is very small and mainly vocabulary based.

Certainly in academic terms we would be expected to choose one type of English over another for consistency, and a school curriculum will favour a particular standard, whatever that may be.

With so many varieties of English, course book writers and publishers are in somewhat of a conundrum as there has to be a particular standard of English which should be followed throughout the book. Consequently, commercially produced course books from leading ELT publishers often feature both British and American varieties in the same series. e.g. Headway and American Headway.

So what factors can influence whether foreign learners are better off learning a particular standard of English? Put simply, excluding any demands that the curriculum might business it depends on what is more appropriate; taking into account their current and future academic, employment or social needs and their geographical location.

If someone is working for a US owned company or one whose client base is predominantly American then the company will probably require American English in its written communication. Similarly if you are studying to be a tour guide in an area frequented by British tourists, it makes sense to concentrate on that standard. If a learner is going to study in Australia then familiarising themselves with Australian English beforehand is going to benefit them in the long run. Similarly, if someone has a British or American partner, the same principle applies and if a student comes from a European country like Sweden they are more likely to be taught British English, due to its close proximity and economic importance within that region.

Healthy competition amongst language teachers

When I have managed language schools, it was apparent to me that there was often healthy competition between teachers of different nationalities, regarding the quality or importance of their particular standard of English. Some of them were very protective, as each variety has its own special identity. As the renowned linguist David Crystal states, in his Encyclopaedia of the English Language (p310), “Each country where English is a first language is aware of its linguistic identity, and is anxious to preserve it from the influence of others. New Zealanders don’t want to be Australians, Canadians don’t want to be Americans, and Americanism is perceived as a danger signal by usage guardians everywhere

Language schools abroad may favour one particular standard of English over another (usually based on its geography or appropriacy), and therefore sometimes, understandably, give preference to that particular nationality of teacher.

Personally though, I like to keep an open mind, as there can also be advantages for both students and teachers. Students get to be exposed to more varieties of English, providing them with a more well rounded education and improving their listening comprehension by exposing them to different global accents. Teachers are also made aware of the differences in varieties, increasing their own knowledge base.

Provided teachers teach what is in the course book and do not interfere with the main objectives of the course, does it really hurt to explain to a student the differences between rubbish and garbage for example, or that lay-by in Australia is the equivalent to hire purchase in the UK, when they come across that particular word the book?

The Standards of English

It is interesting to note how many regional standards of English there actually are, if we take into account English spoken as both a first and second language.

1. British and Irish

2. American

3. Canadian

4. Australian, New Zealand & South Pacific

5. Caribbean

6. West, East and South African (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya,)

7. South Asian (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh)

8. East Asian (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong)

Ref: The Circle of World English, p111, Cambridge Encyclopedia of the English Language, David Crystal (Cambridge University Press 1995)

In conclusion, it is worth noting that when all said and done, EFL teachers and linguists will continue to debate on this emotive subject. However, the (minor?) differences between our varieties of English should be put into perspective; we all speak the same (but different) language after all!
